Tinker and I married in August 1952. Our son Tommy was born in 1957. I ran for office of Register of Deeds in 1958 and held this office until I retired in 1994. Tommy was killed in an auto accident in 1975. Tammy graduated from U.T. Martin in 1990 and married Ricky Gray. Tinker retired in 1999. Our graduating classes of 1951 and 1952 have reunions (used to be every 5 years, but now we have one every 2 years. Had the last one May, 2008.

I came to Tiptonville High School in the 7th grade from a country school Keefe. It was a new world, but had great teachers and made lots of friends. I was elected cheerleader my 10th grade. This was wonderful. Our class was a close class and we really had lots of fun.Was a member of all the clubs
Latin Club, SubJuniors, Home Ec. club. Honor Society. Just a wonderful time.Mr. and Mrs. LeDuke were great teachers.The others were also great. I appreciate my education.
